A BRIEF SUMMARY
A home inspection is an important factor in the purchase process of your new home. The inspection gives the buyer an insight as to the condition of the home from roof to foundation and the systems and components in between. Not only can it give the buyer an education on the idiosyncrasies of an older home, but can point out the advances made in the construction of newer homes. But the inspection doesn't stop there. The inspection can point out safety issues. Faulty electrical, incorrect gas line installations for instance.
The condition of the land around the house such as retaining walls, drainage, driveways and vegetation that may have an impact on the house are also brought to attention. It is not a cosmetic inspection, but a "functional" inspection.
Inspections generally take 2-4 hours & it is recommended the customer be there for some or all of the inspection to ask
any question that may arise.

Prices are based on square footage as follows;
New builds; $.14 sq/ft
1970 to present; $.15 sq/ft
Pre 1970; $.16 sq/ft
Swimming pools & out buildings are an additional $50.00.
There is a $160.00 minimum charge.
